Prophylaxis
Prophylaxis is a procedure in which teeth are cleaned to prevent tooth decay, gum diseases, bad breath and stained teeth. It consists of the removal of plaque and tartar from teeth and gums, and the application of substances that prevent caries as well as the checking of restorations and prostheses.
